چکیده

The introduction of absorption refrigeration technology addressed several significant con-cerns in the domain energy crisis, rising cost fossil fuel, and ecological challenges aris-ing due to excess use traditional compression systems. ARS (absorption system) is gaining popularity as a result benefits such low-grade heat sources environmentally acceptable low-cost working fluid pairs. However, two sig-nificant hurdles commercial success for this are often too big size system poor performance system. Numerous studies have been conducted an attempt discover methods improving COP (coefficient perfor-mance) order get these systems more competitive comparison conven-tional goal article perform review literature on different used enhance ARSs based cycle layout mod-ification pair selection they promising solutions enhancement ARSs. futuristic aspect includes new pairs with no corrosion components, including nanoparticles increase transfer rate while reducing Heat recovery should be introduced efficient design various components especially generator absorber addressed. This could combined other technologies utilizing waste further improve efficiency

Toward High Performance in Industrial Refrigeration Systems

Achieving high performance in complex industrial systems requires information manipulation at different system levels. The paper shows how different models of same subsystems, but using different quality of information/data, are used for fault diagnosis as well as robust control design in industrial refrigeration systems.

Thermodynamic and Thermoeconomic Optimization of an Absorption Refrigeration System integrated with Refinery Crude Oil Furnace

In the present study, exhaust gases from Tehran refinery crude oil furnace are used in a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG)for generating steam. Then, the steam is directed to a double effect absorption refrigeration cycle to produce cooling. To meet the object, mass and energy balance equations of the coupling is carried out for both the HRSG and the absorption chiller and unknown thermodyna...

Performance Simulation of Ionic Liquid and Hydrofluorocarbon Working Fluids for an Absorption Refrigeration System

The theoretical performance of ionic-liquid(IL-) based working fluids in an absorption refrigeration system was investigated. The IL 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([bmim][PF6]) and five hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) were selected as the absorbent and refrigerant, respectively. The Redlich−Kwong equation of state and two-phase pressure-drop model were used to compute the thermodyna...

Dynamic simulation of an ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system

A dynamic model of a single-effect absorption refrigeration cycle has been developed. Modeling of the cycle performance requires thermodynamic properties which are obtained from equations of state for refrigerant-absorbent mixtures. The transient response of the absorption refrigeration cycle is investigated using mass, momentum and energy balances for the different parts of the system. Some de...

Transient Characteristics of a Single-Effect Absorption Refrigeration Cycle

This paper deals with a lumped-parameter dynamic simulation of a single-effect LiBr-H2O absorption chiller. In many studies the thermodynamic properties of LiBr-H2O solution were taken from some approximate relations causing the results to be somewhat inaccurate. These relations were used to solve simultaneous differential equations involving the continuity of species constituting the LiBr-H2O ...
